I don’t think my life began unitl I visited Paris. There isn’t a place in the world that admires beauty like Paris. The city is built to honor the beauty of ideals, words, sounds, images, structures and life. I came alive and have been changed by the history and the culture of France.
I’m a city girl trapped in the body of a small midwest town. I practice artistic endeavours, travel whenever possible, and hunt down cosmopolitain conversation at all costs. I craft for comfort.
As far as English Majors go I’ve had a successful professional career. I’ve worked in a public library, taught Children’s Literature at a private college and currently I’m managing a gallery.
I learned to weave in college and hope one day to own a floor loom the size of a piano.
I’ve been learning to speak french for nearly four years. I’m getting better.
I’m told I look like Anne Hathaway. I’m always told I look like someone, Audrey Hepburn, Julia Roberts, Justine Bateman, Ally McBeal. These woman look nothing alike…so I guess I look like me. And that’s for the best.
